Pyramid Lake, CA Fish Report for 2-24-2023
Pyramid Lake remained near 85 percent of capacity, and fishing has been decent
Pyramid Lake, CA - Caswell, CA (Los Angeles County)
by Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Pyramid Lake remained near 85 percent of capacity, and fishing has been decent. There are still debris in the lake. Please be careful while motoring. Bass anglers reported another good week of fishing with the mornings producing the best. Darker colored jigs, and larger profile plastic baits seemed to get the most attention from small and largemouth. Striper ate cut sardines and anchovies near the marina and at Yellowbar. Catfish anglers soaked dip bait and chicken liver for good results, and trout anglers reported a continued slow pick on the rainbows. Dough baits, minijigs, and various trout lures all worked for bites.
