Quick little update on what we’ve been up to on the El Patron out of Long Beach Sportfishing!

Over the past few trips, we've been mixing it up—fishing for both surface species and rockfish—and we've been loading our bags so everyone can have a chance to take fish home.

• **Saturday, October 11:** 

we ended up with 

- 3 Lingcod 

- Note: 2 of these lingcod were caught on one drop by 10-year-old Christian! 

- 67 Bonito

- 32 Calico Bass 

- 48 Rockfish 

• **Sunday, October 12:** 

- 1 Lingcod 

- 23 Bonito

- 12 Calico Bass 

- 102 Rockfish 

- 1 Barracuda 

- 1 Sheephead 

- (The lingcod weighed well over 20 pounds!)

• **Monday, October 13:** 

- Focused on surface fishing 

- Finished with: 

- 5 small Yellowtail 

- 21 Calico Bass 

- 23 Bonito 

Although the weather has been keeping us from checking out Santa Barbara Island, we plan to head there soon once conditions improve.
