Hey everyone!

Quick wrap-up for today’s trip: we ventured out to another island and it paid off! We had a solid morning bite, landing **eight yellowtail**. Plus, we’re heading home with well over **100 calico bass pretty close to limits

For the guys bottom fishing, they really smashed the **whitefish and sheepshead**—heavy casualties today with the loss of over **20 yellowtail**. The spot we were at had us battling them out of the kelp, but it was great action all around. The yellowtail were biting on the **40-pound line**, and we had nice quality fish with good volume.
