Bluegill remain the most consistent bite at River Walk Park, with mealworms fished under a bobber or on a light split-shot rig producing steady action along the shoreline. A few catfish were also reported this week, with garlic nightcrawlers getting the bites. Bass fishing has been best during the cooler early morning and evening hours, with topwater baits and reaction lures producing around shaded banks, weed lines, and other structure. Senkos and finesse plastics are also working once the topwater bite slows down.
