Hot days drove most anglers to fish mornings, evenings, and at night, with a decent number of bass reported. Bass held in heavy cover, and anglers punched through the floating weed beds to reach them. A few bass were caught on drop shots, while topwater also produced fish during the mornings and evenings. Catfish anglers caught with dip baits, chicken liver, and cut bait. Bluegill were biting redworms and wax worms.
