Even though hits of last week were pretty obscure, the angler's persistency pays off as a gradual two-day increase of Redear makes its way back to the Marina. This is not to mention the three Largemouth Bass which were caught off of the Docks within about 4 hours. The Redworms still seem to be the trick for Panfish, Nightcrawlers for Bass and Trout.

The following are the fish ratings:

Bass: fair with an average size of 3-4 lbs.
Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Fair with an average size of .5-1 lb.
Trout: Good

Fish action the past week has shown a bit more disappointment as the consistency of our Redear/Trout catch takes a slow descent, even with the Redworms and Thomas Bouyants. Although no reports over the past month, a small population of bluegill has been reported over the past few days by the dam outlet. The following are the fish ratings: Bass: Poor Bluegill: Poor Carp: Poor Catfish: Poor Crappie: Poor Redear: Fair Trout: Fair...... Read More

Trout and Redear are still the name of the game here for consistent catch as we see all other species slow down. Red worms, night crawlers and chrome lures should bring luck thrown into Lots 11, 12 and the shore of the launch ramp cove. The Marina has seemed to bring nothing but Redear off of the docks and obscure Largemouth Bass. The following are the fish ratings: Bass: Fair Bluegill: Poor Carp: Poor Catfish: Poor Crappie: Poor Redear: Good Trout: Excellent...... Read More
