Water Temperature: High 60's to low 70's.
Lower Lake Trout Plant: 01/12/2010.
Upper Lake Main Ramp 3100 lbs:: 05/24/2010.
Fishing has been getting more and more difficult as the days go on. The fish die off is still going on throughout most parts of the lake. Baby largies and shad are scattere all over the shoreline and west ramp. With most of the dead shad at the west ramp the stripers hung out there for a while feeding all day and all night. Now it's more difficult to narrow in on those hungry stripers. The large mouth bite is pretty fair and lasts for most of the day. Boils are what everyone is looking for, so flukes and other top water baits are your best shot. This goes for the stripers as well. Lagoon fishing is still pretty hot, largies boil all morning and shad imitations are the best bait of choice..
