Fishing is still picking up a little but the big deal of the week is the first trout plant of the season. The trout plant didn't areally seem to wake up those stripers yet, but the largies have been swirling and teasing the trout all the way from Ball point to C point and the West Ramp. Some smaller stripers have been caught but nothing of goos size yet. As far as the trout there was a pretty good amount of them didn't make it for some reason, so finding a few dead ones around will be common, but the lake was not blue stoned. Silver spinners and power bait have been working great for the trout and you can find them around most of the marina. So bring out the big striper lures and et ready for winter. The lagoon fishing is still doing ok; night fishing has had the best results lately, so go with the darker colors.

Water Temperatiure: High 60's to70's
Lower Lake Trout Plant: 01/12/2010
Upper Lake Main Ramp 1800 lbs: 10/21/2010

Elizabeth Cyn is another place to pick up the largies as well as the stripers and cats. Flukes, nightcrawlers,...... Read More

The fish die off is still going on throughout most parts of the lake. Baby largies and shad are scattere all over the shoreline and west ramp. With most of the dead shad at the west ramp the stripers hung out there for a while feeding all...... Read More
