Still to this day the stripers have not yet shown up. It has been really difficult to catch those double digits. The largemouth bite has still been ok but since the water is so cold they are hanging out in deeper waters. Hopefully the "fish bite" will soon pick up. You might still be able to get the stripers on cut bait back by the buoy line, Kong island and even C-point still. The largies can be found anywhere from 10 - 50 ft. deep. You can get them by working green, orange, and / or white plastics. The shore fishing at the lagoon is definitely way better than the upper lake; the largies are biting at all hours of the day down there. The shore fishing at the west ramp for the largies has been a little better making the best place off shore at the upper lake. As of Saturday Feb. 26th, the cove in the back of the fish arm (Dry Gulch) will be closed to fishing and boating until May 28th for the spawning season.

When they were planted on Thursday, a few double digits were caught on swimbaits by the locals. Since then, it has been difficult to try to get these finicky stripers to bite the swimbaits. Very few anglers are pin pointing where the stripers are in the rest of the lake and when they do find them, cut bait...... Read More

Still no sign of a decent striper bite at all. Most of them are hovering around 60 to 120 feet, some even as deep as 250 feet out by the jet ski buoys. The fish around 60 to 120 feet, you can try to spoon for or try cut bait. Where these fishes have been metered are the usual spots around Elizabeth Cyn, Kong Island, the buoy line and C-point. The large mouth bite is still...... Read More
