The Bite is back! Trout action is excellent on both lakes with anglers using power bait ( especially rainbow, spring green and chartruese) night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch lots of limits. Bite remained strong throughout the day. Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern logged shore and the western shore from the drain to the bridge of lake 3 as well as the northern, eastern and western shore of lake 3.

Catches of the week: Neil Davidson of Phoenix caught a 5 lbs 11 ozs ruby red steelhead on a night crawlers near the eastern logged shore of lake 3. Seth Andrews of Norco reeled in a 4 lbs 2 ozs rainbow using spring green power bait on the grassy point of lake 3. Mark Folson of Rialto scored a 3 lb 10 oz rainbow on a night crawler/chartruese power bait combo at the pump house of lake 3. Jason Peterson of Redlands caught a 3 lbs 14 ozs ruby red steelhead on a orange/yellow power worm near the inlets of lake 2. Dante Borje of Apple Valley caught a 5 lbs 5 ozs trout on a silver Kastmaster near the inlet of lake 2.
