Fishing reports were fair at BV last week, with anglers targeting bass, crappie, and catfish. Smaller whiskerfish ate cut anchovies, SSS dip bait, and nightcrawlers. Crappie went for mini jigs and small live minnows near the islands. Bass anglers did well near the inlet riprap in Lake Evans, with crankbaits and weightless Senkos getting the job done.
