Water temperature was 74F. Fishing at Castaic is very good right now.The stripers have been wide open boiling the last couple days. Most stripers are 3 to 5 lbs. The largemouth bass have been biting good. Most largemouth are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30ft.The catfish bite is going strong with many double digit catfish caught the last month.

Bass: Good, Avg Size: 3.5lbs
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good, Avg Size: 20lbs
Catfish: Good, Avg Size: 1lb
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Poor
Trout: Poor

Water temperature 77 F. Fishing at Castaic is fair/good with bites changing from day to day. There are still Striper boils in the mornings (usually between 6:45 am and 11:00 am) around C point, The West Ramp, and Jet Ski buoys. Water temperature was 79F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers have been boiling good in the mornings at the bouy line and in front of west ramp, off c point and in the jet ski area. The largemouth bass fishing is good. Most bass are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish bite is fair. Most catfish are being caught on mackerel and nightcrawlers in 25 to 75 ft.
