The water is in the low low 60's. Striper are liking the cooler water now. They have been popping up all over the lake. Shore guys are reporting lots of schoolies to 6 pounds with some double digits being caught as well. Boaters report the same. LMB going deeper yet again this week but its no impossible to catch. Big plugs, buck tails & swim baits, cut baits, & frozen shad are all still working for both species.

The bass remain good. The bluegill and carp are poor. The catfish are still decent. The crappie and perch are poor as well as the trout. The striper are still good too.

Fred from Lancaster caught 3 LMB with a large one at 2.7 pounds on shad in various coves. Richard from Lancaster caught 5 fish with a big one at 2.2 pound on some minnows in the arm.

Cold weather bringing surface temp down calling striper up this week. Shad are going deeper taking LMB for the ride, but they are still chewing. Striper are coming up in search of big boats. Although bucktails and kastmaster on the bottom to 40-60 feet still taking decent fish. Anglers floating frozen shad are also scoring fish to 8 pounds.
