Again Trout Plant did not bring the stripers up. Some small stripers taken from shorelines West Bouys and Dam and near the Marina. Largemouth Bass up closer to the shore taking all kinds of plastics and swimbaits. A few stripers on plugs and swimbaits taken as well in the morning during opening hours. Trout are biting on Power Bait, Gold Lures, Gulp Dough, and some plastics. Bass and Trout fishing are good. Striper is fair.

Whoppers of the Week:
Bret Packard got an 8 pound 12 ounce Bass on plastics. Danny Guiterrez and Family caught 19 fish trout and bass. They used power bait for the trout which were caught from shore. The Bass were caught on swimbaits.

The water is in the low low 60's. Striper are liking the cooler water now. They have been popping up all over the lake. Shore guys are reporting lots of schoolies to 6 pounds with some double digits being caught as well. Boaters report the same. LMB going deeper yet again this week but its no impossible to catch. Cold weather bringing surface temp down calling striper up this week. Shad are going deeper taking LMB for the ride, but they are still chewing. Striper are coming up in search of big boats. Although bucktails and kastmaster on the bottom to 40-60 feet still taking decent fish. Anglers floating frozen shad are also scoring fish to 8 pounds.
