Trout action has been excellent on both lakes with anglers using Power Bait ( especially lemon twist, spring green and salmon peach), night crawlers, jigs and lures to score limits. Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern logged shore and the western shore near the pump house of lake 3 as well as the western, northern and eastern ( especially near the wall) shores of lake 2 . Bass are hitting night crawlers and senkos on both lakes with anglers reporting bass up to 4 lbs. Hot spots for Bass are the southeastern wall and western shore of lake 2 as well as the northern shore of lake 3. Bluegill are active and hitting mealworms and senkos. Hot spots for the northern shore of lake 3 near the pump house and the western and southern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the Week: Ed Herman of Wrightwood scored his 3 lbs 12 ozs rainbow on a gold and red Thomas Buoyant, near the inlets on the eastern shore of lake 2. Riato angler, Larry Evans, caught a 4 lbs 6 ozs trout on the eastern logged shore of lake 3 using a a gold Super Duper. Ophelia Figueroa of Vista caught a 5 lbs 6 ozs rainbow on a night crawler while fishing the party pond. Ned Johnson of Las Vegas caught a 3 lbs 9 ozs trout on lemon twist power bait near the drain on the western shore of lake 3. The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
