With the big heat wave that we had last week the water temp spiked to almost 80 degrees in the back of some of the coves. Water clarity is about 1-2 feet because of the alge. LMB are still hitting on plastics and some swimbaits with few reported in mornings. Striper were making a slow come back but are being driven down and hovering around 30 to 60 feet of water. A few double digit stiper caught on top waters in the early morning from 6am until around 9am, and again in the late afternoon from 4 till close. Catfish are showing their faces with a handfull of 8 to 12 pounders, majority of them being caught in the fish arm on nightcrawlers. The lagoon pumped is still pumping out some good sized LMB. No panfish reported this past week.
