NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON: Striper action picked up again this week with multiple limits of fish to 10.5 pounds. Most fish in the 3 to 5 range. Trollers are scoring more fish than in the past few weeks. Bob Caffey of Trout Only Guide Service has once again put his clients on quality fish with triple limits. The bouy line has been hit and miss with fish in the 2-3 pound class with a few in the 9 pound range. Shore fisherman reporting schoolies to 5 and 6 pounds on the dam and around the marina and west ramp areas. LMB continue to take plastics in the 3 to 5 inch sizes and greens and naturals doing best. Some cranks and few a top water fish reported as well. Most LMB have been taken inside coves with a few on points. SOME shads have been seen on the surface but not in great numbers or size. Murky waters have kept them in deeper water.

NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON. NO SHAD AT THE SURFACE YET. LMB again this week have been taking smaller plastics along with a few jerk and crankbits. NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON: This past week has proven to be a good week for anglers throwing smallish green plastics, smaller spinner baits and some crank and jerks balts for LMB.
