NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON: Striper action took a small decline this past week but not enough to put a dent in the fantastic bite from the week prior. Most fish take on the troll in the middle of the lake but some nice fish reported along the shore lines as well. Many bolls have been witnessed but the boils are momentary and boaters rolling in on them kill the action for the most part but few have reported some fish taken before the fish scatter. No reports on the bouy line this week as the action has been primarily in the main body of the lake. LMB are still chewing but getting tougher. Plastics still working, but cranks and spinners have been showing some nice fish. Shad are getting closer to the top but not along shorelines as of yet. Some anglers have been able to dip small shad in coves but not in great numbers or size. The lagoon has been producing some fair size LMB for tubers and yaks as well as a few shore anglers in the early morning hours and the hour before sundown. No pan or cat fish reported this week.
