Despite wind and cold weather boaters targeting Largemouth Bass scored decent numbers according to reliable sources. Most Largemouth Bass in the 2-4 pounds range with a few topping 5 and 6 pounds. Striper action continues to be slow but some bigger fish were caught on the dam and the west ramp areas as well as to the right of the Marina. Striper are taking some top waters and a few swim baits. Largemouth Bass were on the cranks and spinners in the morning and drop shotting through out the late morning until the afternoon hours. Cats have showed in bigger number this week as well on Crawlers, Frozen dines, Anchovies and Cut mack. No reports of Pan fish or Trout.

Rain and Foul weather kept fishermen at bay this past week. Those who took a shot did some damage to LMB and striper in deeper water on a variety of different baits. Striper to 10 pounds were taken and LMB to 4 pounder were reported as well. NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON: Striper action took a small decline this past week but not enough to put a dent in the fantastic bite from the week prior.
