Fishing has definitely improves in the last week! This past week we have been seeing multiple anglers bringing in 12-14 fish per day. Drop-shot seems to be the most productive way to catch multiple fish. Although fish being caught on drop-shot have been smaller there have been a couple instances of anglers catching bass in the 4-5 pound range. Jigging spoons like Kastmasters has also been a really good way to catch the deeper bass schooling off of drop offs. Smaller deep-diving crankshafts being run along the bottom continues to catch the better sized bass with an 8.6 pound bass being caught on one of the 23rd. Bluegill fishing and catfish fishing has also improved significantly with more and more being caught daily. Catfish have been caught by jigging spoons, jigs and stink baits. While the bluegill are being caugth on feather hogs drop-shot with red worms/ mealworms and shiners.
