The holiday week left the lake with minimal fisherman this week. Those who showed were able to scratch up a few schoolie striper and a few trout with a couple Largemouth Bass in the mix. Most of the action was in the morning hours from the earliest report of 7:30 to about 10 am when the bite was switched off a in the past weeks. Most anglers were out by 11 am to return and try another day. Some big striper in the double digit range were caught in the hours of the sun rise as well as a few quality Largemouth Bass int he 3, 4 and 5 pound range with a couple confirmed 6 and 8 pounders. Trout have unfortunately moved out due to winds and muddy water. No reports on Catfish or panfish this week.
