More of the same from last week with fishing being somewhat on the tougher side of fun. Largemouth Bass are going deeper with the colder water on top as well as striper following suit. Some fish have been taken on the top as the sun comes over the mountains from about 7:30 and until the 10:30 to 11 o' clock hour. ( Reported by both boaters and shore beaters ). Unconfirmed reports of some fair to better than fair striper in the 9 and 10 pound models taken from the dam and up the shore line for shore bound guys. Same for the Largemouth Bass reports also show that Largemouth Bass are moving into coves s the day goes on and deeper on points. Cats have still been showing but not in the big fish range. Most reports are in the 2 to 3 pound class with better than average numbers being caught. Despite the trout plant striper have still not yet come to the surface for them. Trout action remains to be good both on the upper and lower lakes with some good size bows in the 1.50 and 2 pound class but most are in the 1/2 and 3/4 pound range.
