Bass fishing has been fair, to good on fly-lined plastics, small swimbaits and all finesse techniques. Most of the fish have been smaller males, with an occasional 3 to 5 pound bass mixed in. Stable weather conditions should have it going full tilt. There was a lone report of an incidental 40 lb. catfish caught on a Alabama rig last Friday. Still a bit early for the bluegill action to get going, but like the bass, they should start going off with some stable weather.
