The DFG finally planted the upper main ramp with a very small load of trout and the striper action picked up from past weeks with a few upper ten double digit fish taken in the morning just hours after opening. Smaller schoolie striper were on the chew on a fair cut bait bite along with some plastic and swim bait takers. Largemouth Bass picked up slightly as well with more quantity of fish taken than in past weeks. Smaller but more numbers is always nice. Plastics of various colors from green and purples to browns and blues all withing the 2-5 inch range for most Largemouth Bass. No reports from the lower lake this past week.
