The last week there has been a temperature drop and drop in water level. Overall, the fishing has slowed down a little. There has been less boils as of late and most of the boils seen have been later throughout the day. Stripers are still popping up here and there with a few anglers having luck on the troll with white producer flies and umbrella rigs. They have been picking up nightcrawlers and lug worms off the bottom accounting for a few catches later.

The largemouth and smallmouth bite has slowed down a little, with most fish coming off reaction baits and finesse style plastics. Flukes and a drop shot set up has been working for the finicky bass that are keened in on the live shad. The bait is still small but anglers are netting full buckets and having decent days.

The bluegill and crappie are still biting but has slowed down with the drop in temperature the past few days.

Catfish are still being caught mainly off mackerel and anchovies.

Flukes, topwater and reaction adits have worked best....... Read More
