As of November 1st, the lake capacity was 67%. The best time to come and fish will be in the mornings and afternoons or when we have cloudy/overcast days. We are still open, and will be open all fall and winter. We are in the fall season for bass fishing!

Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been biting on lipless crank baits, swim jigs, swimbaits, and jigs. The bass are continuing to school up and round up shad and push them into the backs of coves. Now is the time to use those baitfish imitating lures such as jerk baits, swimbaits, and lipless cranks. On hotter days, using a drop shot or ned rig will catch those lethargic bass. You can find bass in grass, timber, and off of main lake points.

We did plant trout on October 28th. The bite has been good for the trout. The trout have been biting everything.
