Trout are still being caught but it has slowed down a little bit since the last plant. We are hoping for another one this week.

The largemouth and smallmouth bass bite has been improving steadily and a lot of anglers have been productive days. Plastics on the drop shot or Carolina-rig have been working best. Some smaller swimbaits and jigs have been doing the trick.

Stripers are start gin to bite more often and anglers have been coming back with a few on the stringer. Nightcrawlers, lug worms, and anchovies have been working, but in deeper water around 40-60 feet. Some anglers are having luck on the troll, mainly with producer flies and umbrella rigs.

The catfish are starting to move up shallower and a lot more catches have been reported lately.

The bluegill and crappie are starting to pick up as well with the lagoon being the best place for these species.
