We just has a trout stoking las week on 5/11/2021 and angler shave been managing some decent strings with powerbait and kastmasters. The bass bite has been somewhat tough for just being stocked.

The largemouth and smallmouth are continuing to bite decent throughout the whole week. A lot fo fish have come off plastics on the drop shot and Carolina-rig. A few reaction baits and top waters have been getting a little attention, with the bait fish starting to show up in the shallows.

The striper are also starting to bite better, with a few boils being spotted here and there. They’ve been schooling up the bait early morning and n the evenings. Flies on lead-core line have been producing decent quality lately, with more action off anchovies and nightcrawlers.

The Catfish are starting to make more of an appearance with chicken liver and mackerel.

Trout are still being caught but it has slowed down a little bit since the last plant. We are hoping for another one this week. The largemouth and smallmouth bass bite has been improving steadily and a lot of anglers have been productive days. Plastics on the drop shot or Carolina-rig have been working best.
