Trout fishing has been decent lately and we are expecting another one sooner than later powerbait, spoons, and nightcrawlers have been working the best.

The largemouth bite has improved and a lot of fish have been reported. Plastics and nightcrawlers have been working the best, with more reaction baits working lately as well. Baitfish have been schooling up in the back of coved and some boils have been seen.

The stripers are slowly biting better and are mainly being caught not eh troll or on the bottom with anchovies or nightcrawlers. Some angler shave reported smaller stripers boiling as well.

Catfish are also biting more frequently, with mackerel and chicken liver working best. A few were caught on articial baits as well. The bluegill and crappie are also biting better with wax worms and red worms working.

Trout are still being caught but it has slowed down a little bit since the last plant. We are hoping for another one this week. We had a trout stocking on 4/20/21 and anglers have been catching trout since the. It has been getting a little tougher to target the trout, but most are being caught off Kastmaster or Powerbait.
