Bluegill are definitely the main catch here at Lake Perris. They are biting on crickets and nightcrawlers. You can sit and relax and catch bluegills all day long on the door at the Marina. The Bass are biting also but they like night crawlers and power bait plastic worms.

These are the following fish reports:

Bass: Good with an Average size of 1 lb.
Bluegill: Excellent with an Average size of 1 lb.
Carp: Good with an Average size of 1 1/2 lb.
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 1 1/2 lb.
Crappie: Excellent with an Average size of 1 lb.
Redear: Excellent with an Average size of 1 lb.
Trout: Good with an Average size of 1/2 lb.

If you like to fish for bluegills come to Lake Perris. They are biting like crazy! The bluegills love the crickets, wax worms and of course the night crawlers.
