Catfish have still been biting the most over the past week or so around the lake deep down in the coves or alone the canal but the entrance booth using a heavy sinker and cut bait either sardines, anchovies or chicken liver. Bass have been biting along steep walls on various soft plastic set ups of deeper diving baits like jerk baits or crank baits. Stripers have beeb bring mainly heavy kastmasters and deep diving jerkbaits or lead heads with swim jigs. Fresh sardines have worked the best overall off points and deeper water during the day. Trout have slowed down a bit since the last trout plant but some have bebe caught by spooning the marina and using powerbait off the deeper end of the swim beach.

Catfish and striper have been biting various cit baits off points throughout the lake in deeper water typically using a heavy sinker and long leader to fish deeper waters ad mange the winds. Sardines and chicken liver have been herby baits to get bit throughout the day. With two trout plants over the past week, people have been able to catch their limits of trout from the shoreline and throughout the coves around the lake.
