Hart Park anglers reported fair fishing for all species

Hart Park anglers reported fair fishing for all species. Largemouth took Texas rigged plastics off the bottom. They also fell for jigs and green pumpkin Senkos. Catfish anglers soaked dip bait, fresh shrimp, and garlic scented nightcrawlers, and bluegill ate redworms and mealworms.

California Aqueduct: Be sure to sneak up on the bass, as they have been very finicky
Castaic Lake: Fishing has been fair, and trout and striper have been the best bets
Pyramid Lake, CA: Recent storms brought in additional mud which made for poor water clarity
Lake Isabella: The best action here has been for catfish
Kern River: The Upper Kern is loaded with trout and is being stocked weekly
Lake Kaweah: Water condition have been cold with poor water clarity
Lake Success: Recent storms brought in more mud and debris
River Walk Lakes: There’s been an excellent trout bite here
Ming Lake: Bass fishing at Ming is starting to improve
Buena Vista Lakes: Lake Evans has been one of the best bets for local anglers

California Aqueduct: Anglers reported fair fishing in the aqueduct last week
Castaic Lake: Anglers continue to report water clarity issues
Pyramid Lake, CA: The lake held near 85 percent of capacity, and fishing was fair last week
Lake Isabella: Isabella is at 24 percent capacity and the inclement weather has made fishing difficult
Kern River: The trout action in the Upper Kern has been steady all winter
Lake Kaweah: The lake rose to 23 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair
Lake Success: Lake Success held at 25 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair
River Walk Lakes: Not much going here until the stock
Ming Lake: At Ming, fishing slowed down a bit with the cooler weather
Buena Vista Lakes: The latest trout plant provided excellent fishing for everyone
