I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but I wanted to share some exciting updates! We’ve been seeing daily chances on yellowtail, and there’s a tremendous amount that has moved into Catalina Island. I’m confident that one of these days, we’re going to get a solid hit — there are definitely opportunities every day! 🎣
The water temperature around Catalina has been consistent, and we’re finally seeing sardines in our bait wells. Our recent overnight trip on Sunday was a success, and on Monday, we continued our fishing adventure at Catalina Island. We caught one yellowtail but lost about three others. Despite that, we had a great show of them throughout the trip, which really indicates that a good amount of yellowtail has moved in!
Don’t forget about our upcoming trips:
- **Thursday:** Full day trip to Catalina Island targeting yellowtail and calico bass — it’s a definite go!
- **Friday Night:** Twilight trip targeting sandbass — also a definite go! Last time, we ended up with limits for 25 anglers! 🐟
- We just need a couple more anglers for Saturday night’s twilight to make it a go, so don’t miss out!
Hope to see you out there!
