At Ming Lake, CDFW stocked trout this week and it’s been limit-style fishing. Anglers are seeing good success on Indian crickets, nightcrawlers, mousetails, and Kastmasters. The bass bite is improving, with fish being fooled on Texas-rigged plastics and weightless flukes. Crappie fishing has slowed compared to recent weeks, but fish are still being picked up later in the day on mini jigs and live shiners.
