Buena Vista Lake produced fair fishing, with largemouth bass holding in deep cover and responding well to weedless creature baits pitched into heavy vegetation. Topwater frogs and weightless green pumpkin Senkos were also effective in the same areas. Crappie were caught near the dock on Z-Man Shad Fry baits in Blue Glimmer Sparkle, while catfish anglers found success in Lake Evans using SSS dip bait and chicken liver. Bluegill were also caught on redworms fished near the reeds and cattails.
