With another trout plant scheduled hopefully these bigger stripers will come up from the bottom and stop feeding off the bait. For the most part, the stripers that are being caught are at the bottom between 90 and 120 feet. Blood worms and sardines are catching the bigger stripers and the most productive place for the stripers is at the buoy line. There are a few places in the fish arm near Elizabeth and it's the same story, bait fishing between 90 and 120 feet. The largemouth fishing has had mixed results lately. Some anglers are having a really tough time catching these finicky largies but the anglers who are catching have been using crankbaits and a few plastics. The bass are in there typical spots and hovering around 5 to 15 feet. The lagoon fishing is doing alright with the decrease in water level, it's about 5 feet lower now and the fish seem to be liking it. The largies are also biting the plastics and crankbaits and the lagoon.

A few largies have been caught on swimbaits around the marina and the cove to the right of the marina. Down the dam near the tower, a few stripers have been caught off of bait and just a couple...... Hopefully, this will get some striper action going. It has still been really hard to pinpoint the stripers anywhere in the lake. Few people have been getting lucky here and there but there really isn't a hot spot for the...... Read More
