We are on the board and scheduled for a trout stocking this week. Most likely by Tuesday or Wednesday we will receive our trout plant. Again we are hoping this might make the stripers a little bit more active on the surface. Some anglers are still catching limits near the buoy line off of sardines and blood worms. The largemouth scene is definitely better than it has been. The largies are being caught everywhere on everything. It seems for now they have given up on their picky ways so hopefully the stripers will follow the example. Both the upper and lower lakes are doing great for largies. The lagoon is doing great near the launch ramp and fishing pier in the evening hours after the sun goes down. Also , an unconfirmed report of small mouth on the run again, Jimmy was in here on Friday and caught 2 decently sized smallies around Kong island. Unfortunately, no other info was gathered. Trout fishing will most likely be pretty killer in the later part of the week so just give us a call to find out if we have been stocked with trout

Sardines and blood worms are still the hot ticket for the stripers down deep. The large mouth bite at the upper lake has been...... Read More

With another trout plant scheduled hopefully these bigger stripers will come up from the bottom and stop feeding off the bait. For the most part, the stripers that are being caught are at the bottom between 90 and 120 feet. Blood worms and sardines are catching the bigger stripers and the most productive place for the stripers is at the buoy line. There are a few places in the fish arm near Elizabeth and it's the same...... Read More
