Striper boils show no sign of stopping any time soon. Boils can be seen almost every morning in the marina of the upper lake. The Dam and shoreline are great places places to post up fist things in the morning for great shoreline action. Anything top water is still the best to throw (Lucky Craft, Spooks, Kastmasters, etc) Other Hot Spots on the include Kong Island, The Cliffs, Dry Gulch, and Firebreak. Largemouth are biting throughout the day Hawk's Nest, Eucalyptus Point, and Utopia. Throw Jerk Baits or worms for the best results, Lastly, Catfish are being caught on cut Mackerel down the Ski Arm around Necktie Canyon around 70 feet. The water level is currently is currently at 1405'.

Bluegill: Fair
Avg. Size: 1 lb
Catfish: Fair

Castaic LakeThis past week was another good one for fishing, Anglers had lots luck on Striper boils around S.S Ski and C-point on Flukes, Spooks, and Jerk Baits. Boils have been continuing throughout the day as well. The Largemouth bite was good as well with Nightcrawlers and Crank Baits producing the most bites. Castaic LakeStriper action is still holding up here at the upper lake with boils popping up in the marina, off of the dam, and by Old S.S Any top water baits such as Flukes, Spooks, and Crank Baits are still the best choice to cast out.
