Striper action is still the hot ticket up here on the upper lake. Boils are still going hard throughout the day and many Shad can still be seen swimming around many different areas of the lake. any top water lures such as Kastmasters, Lucky Craft, and Spooks are still the best baits to throw out. The Largemouth Bass bite has picked up in the mornings as well with action coming from the Dam, C-Point and Hawk's Nest. Crank Baits and worms are still working great. The water level is currently at 1401'.

Bass: Excellent
Avg. Size: 4 lbs

Catfish: Fair
Avg. Size: 3.5 lbs

Striper boils show no sign of stopping any time soon. Boils can be seen almost every morning in the marina of the upper lake. The Dam and shoreline are great places places to post up fist things in the morning for great shoreline action. This past week was another good one for fishing, Anglers had lots luck on Striper boils around S.S Ski and C-point on Flukes, Spooks, and Jerk Baits. Boils have been continuing throughout the day as well. The Largemouth bite was good as well with Nightcrawlers and Crank Baits producing the most bites.
