Fishing at Castaic is fair. Largemouth bass are biting best with fish being caught in 2-30 ft. Most bass are being caught on plastic worms and night crawlers. The striper fishing has been slow. Most stripers are being caught on umbrella rigs and spooning in 50 to 75ft. Catfish are being caught on mackerel, anchovies and night crawlers.

Fishing is fair at Castaic right now. The best actions has been Largenmouth Bass. Most bass are being caught in 5-25 ft on plastic worms and nightcrawlers. The striper bite has been slow. Most stripers are being caught in umbrella rigs. A few catfish have been caughtin the last week on night crawlers. We should be recieving a trout by next week.
