Fishing at Castaic is fair. Largemouth bass are biting best with fish being caught in 2 to 30 ft. Most bass are being caught on plastic worm and nightcrawlers. The striper fishing has been slow. Most stripers are being caught on umbrella rigs and spooning in 50 to 75ft. Catfish are being caught on mackerel. anchovies, and nightcrawlers. We should be recieving a trout plant this week.
