Fishing at Castaic is picking up.There has been some good striper fishing the last couple days. Most of the stripers are being caught on nightcrawlers and lug worms.Catfish bite has been good with a few double digit fish this week.Most catfish are being caught on nightcrawlers and mackerel. The largemouth bass fishing is good.The bass are spawning so most fish are being caught shallow on a variety of baits. Water Temperature: 73 Degrees

Fishing at Castaic is fair. Largemouth bass are biting best with fish being caught in 2 to 30 ft. Most bass are being caught on plastic worm and nightcrawlers. The striper fishing has been slow.
