??????????
BASS ??
DVL anglers can't help but catch bass. Flukes in baby bass or smoking shad have done well. Swimbaits have been the most effective lure for the bigger bass. LA sliders and Zplugs have caught some big bass this week. Kenneth Ho of Temecula released 22 bass fishing with crawdads on various points. ??

?? ??????????
TROUT ??
Trout are due to hit the water this week which should revive the bite. In years past chartreuse powerbait, mini jigs, Roostertails, and Kastmasters have been the best for trout. .

??
STRIPER ??
??Striper have surfaced at DVL. There have been plenty of striper caught this week on swimbaits and topwater lures. The trout plant this week should bring the striper bite to wide open status. Matt Thompson of Hemet caught a 15.59 pound striper fishing with an LA slider in the marina.?? ??

CATFISH??
There were a few cats caught this week mostly by shore anglers. Near restroom 2, Rawson cove, and the inlet are the usual hot spots for boaters. Cut Bait such as mackerel, anchovies or shrimp will do the trick. ??????????

??
PANFISH ??
The panfish have been receding from the shore and neglecting anglers. What was an almost sure thing last week has become a serious struggle. Those who have adapted to conditions and increased there patience have gotten some thick bluegill. Fishing 25-30 feet along the dams or near the restrooms with mini jigs or live worms has been the tried and true method.
