What a week it has been here at Lake Perris! A 21 lbs. Striper was caught ( and impressive ), Catfish, Bass and now the Trout were snagged as well. Our lake now also has tagged Trout- $10 reward. The fishing is beginning to make the map at lake Perris.

These are the following ratings:

Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Fair
Redear: Poor
Trout: Good

Rough waters call for rough fishing at Lake Perris as we see as slight drop in our consistency. Whether it's the change temperature or the economy, our Crappie catch are being over shadowed by others; Not recorded, three fine bass were pulled out by one of our avid ganers just off of the end of the island. Another reliable week it has been for Lake Perris fishermmen. As Crappie even begin to make more of an appearance, the bass catch still dominates the gaming.
