A week of trials and tribulations it has been for Lake Perris as we see a drop in most fishng game. With the exception of a handful of Redear being pulled off of Sail Cove. The fish seem to be feeling the same as our fisherman- not too fond of the weather.

These are the following ratings: Bass: Fair with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 1.50 pound.
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Fair
Redear: Good with an Average size of 1.5
Trout: Fair with an Average size of 1.125

What a week it has been here at Lake Perris! A 21 lbs. Striper was caught ( and impressive ), Catfish, Bass and now the Trout were snagged as well. Our lake now also has tagged Trout- $10 reward. Rough waters call for rough fishing at Lake Perris as we see as slight drop in our consistency. Whether it's the change temperature or the economy, our Crappie catch are being over shadowed by others; Not recorded, three fine bass were pulled out by one of our avid ganers just off of the end of the island.
