Striper is the fish to be caught at Lake Perris. This past month has been exciting for us and the fisherman who has caught these huge wonderful Striper bass. Our record here at Lake Perris has been broken this week. With a 22.7lb. Striper bass. Along with the 22.7lb. was an 18lb., 15.95lb., 15.7lb. and a 13lb Striper that was reported to us at the Marina Stock. The trout has also been caught, especially one of the tagged 10.00 Reward Trout.

These are the following ratings:

Bass: Excellent with an Average size of 15 pounds.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 0.50 pound.
Carp: Fair with an Average size of 1.50 pound.
Catfish: Fair with an Average size of 1.50 pound.
Crappie: Good with an Average size of 1 pound.
Redear: Good with an Average size of 1 pound.
Trout: Excellent with an Average size of 5 pounds.

A week of trials and tribulations it has been for Lake Perris as we see a drop in most fishng game. With the exception of a handful of Redear being pulled off of Sail Cove. What a week it has been here at Lake Perris! A 21 lbs. Striper was caught ( and impressive ), Catfish, Bass and now the Trout were snagged as well. Our lake now also has tagged Trout- $10 reward.
