Never fails does the community "word of mouth" propaganda as Lake Perris sees the anticipation fire- up for the striper hunt. With the striper record being beaten at 22lbs, it still seems to be the buzz. In other news, our tagged rainbow trout are popping up out of the woodwork. Redear have also been pulled in off the dock.

These are the following report:

Bass: Fair with an Average size of 3.25 pounds.
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Fair with an Average size of 2 pounds.
Redear: Fair with an Average size of 1.125 pounds.
Trout: Good with an Average size of 2 pounds.

Striper is the fish to be caught at Lake Perris. This past month has been exciting for us and the fisherman who has caught these huge wonderful Striper bass. Our record here at Lake Perris has been broken this week. With a 22.7lb. Striper bass. A week of trials and tribulations it has been for Lake Perris as we see a drop in most fishng game. With the exception of a handful of Redear being pulled off of Sail Cove.
