It is bluegill season here at Lake Perris. They love crickets and wax worms. The island is a great place right now to catch fish. Bass are being caught also. Another striper Bass was caught in the middle of the dam. It was 15lb. It is definitely the fishing place to be.

These are the following fish reports:

Bass: Good with an Average size of 1/2lb.
Bluegill: Excellent with an Average size of 1lb.
Carp: Good with an Average size of 1lb.
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 1lb.
Crappie: Excellent with an Average size of 1lb.
Redear: Excellent with an Average size of 1lb.
Trout: Good with an Average size of 1/2lb.

The catfish are biting. The catfish are big so you will need strong testline. Nightcrawlers and meal worms are the desired bait for the fish here at Lake Perris, but htey love snacking o crickets. Bluegill are definitely the main catch here at Lake Perris. They are biting on crickets and nightcrawlers. You can sit and relax and catch bluegills all day long on the door at the Marina.
