As water temperatures continue to rise, bass are beginning to move into shallower water. The bass bite has been decent, with anglers finding success using crankbaits, jigs, and Senkos. It has been a few weeks since the last trout plant at River Walk, and while anglers are still catching some holdover trout, the bite has started to become more challenging. Trout have been coming on trout jigs, small spinners, and PowerBait. Anglers are also finding bluegill and crappie at both lakes using live worms.
