Fishing at Castaic has been good. Stripers and largemouth bass are still boiling on shad. The best boils have been in the mornings. The end of the fish arm have been the best spots. Stripers and largemouth can also be caught on spoons and ice jigs in 30 to 60ft deep. Catfish are biting pretty steady on anchovies and mackerel. We should be receiving a trout plant next week. We are on the list for the week of 11-09-14.

Striper boils have started to calm down a bit over the past week as stripers start to have dive to deeper depths. Bait, spoons, and worms have been working around 60 feet at the end of the Fish Arm by Utopia and Dry Gulch. Anglers are also having luck with same bait and lures around the back side of C-Point. Fishing at Castaic has been good. Stripers and largemouth bass have been boiling. The striper action has been at the end of the fish arm. Most stripers are being caught on topwater, jerkbaits, and spoons. The bait bite for stripers has slowed down a bit. Largemouth bass are boiling close to shore and in the back of coves.
